Fun Times in the Summer Time

After VBS one afternoon Sandee, Mary Leigh and I took the kids to lunch and bowling. 

When we were done bowling everyone came back to our house for an afternoon of swimming.

I'm so glad Lily and Cade have made so many friends since we made our move! This year has especially been filled with new playdates, friends and adventures for all of us! I think we've all made some good friends for many years to come !

Build-A-Bear Adventures

Chris and I took Lily and Cade to build a Bear workshop last weekend. Lily had $32 saved up and it was burning a hole in her pocket.  The girl just couldn't stand it any longer and originally wanted to go to American Girl to buy a wheelchair for her doll??!! :)  But we mentioned Build-a-Bear and she quickly changed her mind and immediately knew she wanted the Arial Bear! This is a girl of decision making power! She must get that from her daddy:) Decisiveness is not a gemini's foremost trait :) So here is our adventure in pictures at Build - A - Bear.

Group Reunion

A reunion at last! It has been almost four years since our group had our last reunion. Jill's wedding in February sparked some talk of needing a get together so I of course volunteered! :o)  About half of the group were able to make it.  We had a day filled with bbq, swimming, and fun....and 

some overnight guests, too :)  We were glad to host!  

It was a great turnout and we hope to be able to keep this a yearly tradition!

Lemonade for Sale

Lily and her sweet little friend Kaitlyn set up a lemonade stand at the beginning of our summer to earn some money for themselves! It was so much fun and such a cute little set up! 

They worked hard and made a good amount of money! They boys rode around on their bikes, go carts and motorcycles and would stop for a break and head back out again around the circle. I don't know who was cuter...the boys being boys or the girls working hard to earn some money!

             After a hard working morning we went to lunch in the air conditioning (ha) and came back to swim the afternoon away! Kaitlyn and Barrett showed up in the same swim outfits as Lily and Cade!  We all had a good laugh about that ! Pretty cute!!!

Think we've got a good little tradition started to kick off the summers now!!! You Go Girls!!!

Memorial Weekend

We spent Memorial Weekend with the College Station Crew! Everyone came to our house for bbq and swimming! We loved every minute of it, wished that my cousin Brandon and his family and Brian, Jessica and Jax could have made it, but can't wait to get together again soon! Mom and Dad flew in from their trip to Peru that morning and were exhausted but full of stories and excitement and somehow hung in there all day with us! When I was growing up...if I wasn't in Waco I was in College Station with my cousins Tiffany, Brandon and Timothy. It's been fun growing up together and watching our lives change, move in new directions and build our families!

  Cade was in heaven with so many boys around! They all got along so well in fact that we are dying to take a vacation together!
