Christmas in Prosper

A WHITE CHRISTMAS IN PROSPER !!! YEAH !!!

We spent a lot of time in our pj's this Christmas! It was comfy cozy and so pretty with all of the snow we had! The kids were in heaven!!!
Mom also brought GiGi up for our Christmas in Prosper this year. She is 89 years old and was such a trooper with all of the noise and chaos between the kids, new presents, and mom's suprise puppy! She went home pretty tired but we were so thankful for the time she was able to spend with all of us!

As everyone arrived Christmas Eve evening Brian shared his wine...he knew I wouldn't have anything good (ha).

It didn't take long for the wine to take hold... (haha) We had to kill time until dad got off of work and drove up ...so what else would we have done, right! When Brian leaves our house there are usually picture frames upside down and various things in different places. He loves to  keep me on my toes!

Dad finally made it to the house. Oh the anticipation of giving the puppy to mom was almost too much to bare for all of us (ha)

Then the doorbell rang.

The kids yelled..."Special Delivery for Linda Hugghins!"

Mom walked to the door, opened it and looked straight ahead. No one was there so she looked down and saw the sweetest little white puppy you have ever seen!  She was soooo excited! Phew....we pulled it off and the kids didn't let it slip!!! Brian, Jessica and Jax had the puppy for a few days and then we had the puppy for about a week. All three kiddos became very attached...very quickly! It was just the right size for the kids to tote around and so playful and so stinkin cute!!! OMG we pulled off the biggest surprise on mom! She is the queen of surprise, but we got her this time!  This one was GREAT!!!

It took a while for the puppy to actually make it to Gran's arms...the kids passed her around first (ha).

Would you look at that! Sweet puppy...mom's in love!!!

GiGi got a chance to hold her too!

Mom (Gran) had a gift for each of the kiddos to open Christmas Eve....They couldn't wait!!!

Chris and "Snowflake," as the kids named her, watched the kids! He won't admit it, but as you can see from this picture they were pretty tight the week that we took care of her!

Look what Santa brought Miss Lily bug!!!  McKenna and some of her outfits! Oh what a happy little girl she will be!

Santa left a cool bike for Jax!

And Cade got the whole set of Jake and the Neverland Pirates....Buckey's ship, Skull Rock and Captain Hooks Hideout! Izzy, Cubby, Jake, Peter Pan, Skully, Captain Hook and the team treasure chest.  Cade wanted this so bad that he wore his summer Jake and the Neverland Pirate pj's to bed Christmas Eve. (ha)

Much wished for...American Girl Doll McKenna!!!

Keepin cozy

Gran and Pap Jack got Cade a super cool light up remote control car that flips!

We gave Cade a Cars guitar!

Lily got a lava lamp!

Lava Lamp Love (haha) Thank you Aunt Jessica and Uncle Brian!

Gran gave Lily a pretty crochet headband and a Cinderella barbie among MANY other things!!!

We all chipped in and gave GiGi a new computer screen! She was thrilled!

Chris got Kiehl's and a new pair of Ugg slippers.

We have a tradition of giving each family an ornament each year. This year we gave everyone an ornament from Disney World. Mom, Dad, Brian and Jessica gave everyone an ornament from their trip to Peru.

I found these beautiful custom monograms and scooped them up for each family this year for Christmas! Just need to be painted and hung with a ribbon. Love these!!!

Mom got dad his first pair of Ugg Slippers. We told dad once you go Ugg, you never go back (hahaha)

Sophie just sat pretty and watched all the comotion. Cutie Pie!!!

Little piggy back ride!

AWE !!!! Puppy love!

The kids decided to go back outside and enjoy the snow....snow angels were first on their list!

Cade tried really hard to slide down the front yard! It didn't work to well, but he kept at it!

We had Christmas Day lunch together. Loaded Baked Potato Soup, Mushroom Soup and sandwiches.

Lil cuddling up with Uncle Brian.

And off they go again...

Sophie just loved the snow! She pounced all over the yard!

Jax

Brian and Jessica spent another night because the roads were icy. The next day they both had to go back to work so we kept Jax at hour house and mom stayed the rest of the week with us!

Chris worked hard trying to scrape the ice off so GiGi could make it down to the car safely.

They made it. Phew!!!

LOVE this picture of Jax and Cade!

Dad headed back with GiGi to drop her off and be at work by noon. So sad to see them go, but what a wonderful Christmas together!!!

The kids spent the rest of the morning making a gingerbread house together.

And Oh My!!!! Lily lost her 7th tooth!!!  Yay Lily!!!!

Hey Soph!!!

The next day we spent mostly outside getting some pent up energy out!

Lovin their Gran!!!

Lily got an electric scooter she had been hoping for and finally got to ride it!

Cade decided after a busy day it was naptime with Sophie.  Awe!!!

Pumpkin just made sure he could sit back and watch everything that was going on !

And we ended with another cousin sleepover in Lily's room. SWEETNESS!!!!
