Easter

The Easter Bunny left a basket full of goodies for the kiddos along with a trail of eggs leading down the stairs from their rooms.

Ready for Easter Sunday Mass at our church in Frisco.

Cade is cracking me up....Thank you for enjoying the photo op for me buddy :)
Cade's glasses change to a tint when he goes outside.   Little man looks all grown up!

After Mass we drove to Granbury for lunch with the Carter Crew.

Luke and Lily....always a crazy pose with these two :)

Grandma Carter had a small patch of bluebonnets in her yard so we took a few pics.  They were really hard to find this year.  Glad to have gotten even a small pic in them :) It's a Texas thing !!

Cade got to drive the golf cart to the club for the Easter Egg Hunt. That's an excited boy!!

And they're off :)

Cade looks just like Chris and Jeff in this picture!!!

Lily found  a ticket in one of her eggs so she got to go to a table and pick out a prize. She picked out a compact travel brush.

Aghh...the matching family picture :)   Don't think I have many more years I can swing this matching obsession I have (haha).

Peter Pan

Lily auditioned for her second play and got 3 small parts in Peter Pan! For her audition she sang a song from Frozen and recited a one minute monologue. Peter Pan was performed through McKinney Youth Theatre and 52 kids were in this play/musical!  It truly was OUTSTANDING!!!

Lily in costume for the Mermaid chorus.

In costume for the Indian parts.

Lily as Nana, the nursery dog.

Morgan McClure was the director and she worked with these kiddos so well! Here they are warming up before they go upstairs on stage.

A scene with the Lost Boys in Neverland

 Wendy with the Lost Boys

 Lily on stage as Nana.

Wendy flying with the help of the "Flight Crew" dads.

Loved this part! "You Can Fly."  All 52 kids had light up stars and came running around the room adn on stage singing the "You Can Fly" song.

 Mermaid Chorus

Peter Pan catching Captain Hook and making him say he's a codfish!

Michael, John and Wendy back in their room telling the stories of their adventures to their parents.

Pat, Jeff and Will (who did not want his picture taken) brought another famous cookie bouquet!

Miss Kennedy and Celena came to the show....so fun to see friends!!!

 Celena

My cousin Tiffany and husband Tim.  Tiff said she teared up a few times watching all of the kids perform and watching Lily out there on stage. It's pretty amazing!

Mary, Cindy, and Kristel, and Kathy  Lots of family supporting our kids every year! We are lucky!

Proud of this girl!!!  Never pictured theatre in our future, but here we are...watching this Miss Lily grow  in so many ways.

Cade's 6th Birthday

Cademan is 6 !

He woke up to a birthday breakfast before school and got to open a few presesnts.

OH.....he couldn't be more excited!!! We got him Disney Infinity...what he had been asking for for months :)

So funny!

We let Cade and Lily stay home from school the next day which was a friday. Well, that was a birthday bonus to start with :)  Lily had tech week for her play the entire week and we were all tired from the long nightgs of practice! With 6 performances coming up the next three days we all needed the day together! The day was all Cade's! He asked if we would take him back to the Great Wolf Lodge so he could get a new Pickles. Pickles was his little wolf he got two years ago at the GWL when we actually stayed, but Pickles has been lost for a while.  Here is to Pickles #2  :)

The next request was Chucky Cheese.   We soon heard..."This is the best birthday EVER!"
Chris just laughed and reminded me how much I spent on Cade's Star Wars Angry Birds party last year.  LOL Point taken. Cade had games, tokens, tickets, pizza, and prizes and the place just about to himself because it was a school day! Pretty happy kiddo!

Cade picket out a pirate sword and a stomp rocket.

Sweet Boy....you are growing up too fast on me!!!

Mom came up Friday afternoon. I'm pretty sure Lily had a blue coconut slush....look at those teeth!

Gran surprised Cade with some Disney Infinity pieces! She got to stay for Lily's play too. We sure enjoy our time with her!!! Wish it was more often!

Happy Birthday Cade! We love you to pieces and are so proud of you!!!
