Cinderella

Lily was in her first play! This girl continues to surprise me everyday! She is such a little go-getter and I love that about her! The play was Cinderella GTK and performed through a local children's theatre company. Lily auditioned in front of the director with a one minute memorized monologue and sang a song. She played the parts of Meg the Sloppy Sister and part of the Chef Staff. She was in quite a bit of the play though with all of the dancing and singing parts. It was really cute!

Lily as Meg the Sloppy Sister in her townsperson costume. She changed costumes 4 or 5 times! It was a very busy time in the dressing room for everyone!!!

The play's director circled the group up before every show and handed out "an Oscar" to a couple of the kids for their hard work.

Aunt Cindy and Aunt Kristel came to one of Cinderella's 8 performances over 2 weekends!

Grandma Carter came up with Aunt Cindy and Aunt Kristel!
We had lots of friends and family come to the shows and support Miss Lily!
It was very exciting for all of us!
Our good friends, The Webbs, came out and Miss Sarah wore one of her princess dresses :)

Karen and Allie drove up from Longview to surprise Lily before her last performance!!! Happy girls getting to visit and hang out before and after the show! Happy mama's getting to catch up again too!

Lily's friend Madison came to support Miss Lil too!

Our Sweet Friends The Adcocks came out to one of the performances! What a wonderful group of friends and family we have! We are blessed!

Gran and Pap Jack teared up during the play...partly because Lily is my child and I was terrified of everything growing up and she is not - LOL and because they were so darn proud of her!

Aunt Pat and Uncle Jeff were quite impressed with the play and had a very large Cinderella themed cookie bouquet for Lily at the end of the show! Lucky girl!!

Lily is chomping at the bits to audition for another play! She heard about Peter Pan coming up soon...guess we will see where this takes her :)
