Jax turns 3 !

Our nephew Jax turned 3 in January. Brian and Jessica said Jax requested a dinosaur party....and a dino party he got! It was so super stinkin cute and lots of fun!  Love this little man! So fun to have him so close in age to Lily and Cade. Great job on the party, Jessica! What a sweet mama you are!!

And great job, Brian on keeping the kids entertained and wound up :)  (haha)

Roar, Roar, Little Dinosaur!

Would you look at that dessert table! Since it IS a kids party, we'll start with dessert first (ha).

Since Brian doesn't have any treed in the back yard he held the pinata from the roof.  He gave the kids a run for their money, that's for sure! He would raise it up everytime they would swing the stick. No blindfold needed when Brian's around! (haha)

Mom brought Sophie up. The kids couldn't wait to see her again. She was all decked out for the party with a pink and brown bow with rhinestones! Mom is cracking us up these days!

Jax's Aunt Sue! She baked 80 cookies for the party AND made the dinosaur tails! She also keeps Jax a couple of days a week! She is his angel! So sweet!

Snow Day !!!

Would you look at this! We got snow on Christmas Day AND the second week  the kids were back at school! School was delayed 2 hours this morning, but ended up canceling school for the day! Unexpected and a fun cozy day to stay and play at home!

We went through many pairs of gloves!!! We couldn't find Cade's gloves so he started out with a pair of Lily's. Lily wanted mine because they were leather and Cade ended up with a pair of Chris's after his hands got too cold.  Chip and Dale made it out for a snowball fight too! When it got to ugly we had the kids throw snowballs at the fence.  That saved a lot of yelling and tears!

Ended up with a snow baby for a while (ha).

And then came Mount Carter!  

After some fun in the snow we had a nice warm breakfast together!

And some snuggle/movie time! Gotta love a snow day!



A morning with Cade....

Cade goes to preschool 3 days a week. On the days he doesn't go we take it easy and he has breakfast after we get Lily off to school. Several times we have caught Pumpkin just sitting in Lily's seat watching Cade as he eats. I happened to catch it on my camera this time! It's so funny! Looks like they are just having a little conversation together. Love it!

After breakfast and some cartoons it never fails that Cade has to pull all of the pillows and make a fort or obstacle course of some kind. Today it was a pillow hurdle and I was supposed to watch him jump over it a hundred times as I said "ready, settie, GO!" (ha)  Such a boy! (ha)

Cade is a big homebody on his days off! You can bet he was in his pj's ALL DAY!
Mama probably was too (ha)!
