We kicked off Stampede weekend with the Gala on Thursday evening. We had dinner, bid on items in the silent auction and accidentally ended up with a guitar from the live auction. Chris tried to get the bidding up so he kept raising his pid number in the air. All the sudden the bidding stopped and Chris ended up the last bidder. He looked at me and said, "Honey, I did not mean to buy that guitar!" OMG, we ended up going home with a guitar signed by Reba McIntire. I told him that it looked like Lily would be taking guitar lessons soon! - haha
Friday night Chris took about 18 members of family to The Stampede Rodeo in Allen. I took Cade and Lily to Rehearsal Dinner in Arlington for Lucy and Frank. The kids cried the whole way to Arlington because they wanted to be at the Rodeo. When we got to Rehearsal they were fine once they saw the other kiddos they could run around with! Carter lives in Michigan and is only about 3 months younger than Cade. They have a ball together enjoying their cousin time when they can!
