After Melissa's wedding, we all had breakfast together, then headed to Frobergs Strawberry Field nearby with the kiddos. It was super fun! None of us had ever picked strawberries before! We listened to the rules and off we went with our buckets! Jax was the Strawberry Picking King! He is just 2 and had his bucket filled to the top before Cade and Lily had a handful in thiers! (ha) We have enough strawberries to last a month or so! They will be great in our smoothies, on some ice cream, and Lily's favorite way...sprinkled with powdered sugar!!!
I have always wanted to go to a strawberry field and pick fresh strawberries. What fun!
ReplyDeleteOh and I looked back at your post for Cade's birthday. Girl- you are awesome. All the decorations from the front door wreath, his letters on the mantel, the food, the invitations, the cake, the party favors...oh my goodness! What a fun party. I'm so sad we missed it!
