Log Country Cove - Day 2

On Day Two of our trip Brian introduced the jet ski to the kids...and my dad :)  Lily was the first to ride and she just couldn't get enough!  She LOVED it!!!  This girl was born for adventure....(as long as there are no bugs involved - ha)

                 Jax loved steering for Brian and going in circles!!!

                               Cade decided he might give it a try another time :)

                            Time for a little lunch break!

                               The rope swing was a big hit with Lily!  She jumped off at least 200 times during the weekend! Her tummy muscles were so sore when we left (ha) She made a bunch of friends and they all tried to see who could swing out and land the farthest in the water! Soooo fun and the shade was a bonus!!!

                   That's a happy girl right there!

                                 Cade jumped on the rope swing from a lower level and loved it too! He would swing out past chris and then let go and swim  back. He's a great little swimmer! And he was so proud that he did the rope swing.

                                There's Miss Lily swinging again :)

          My Great-Aunt Martha and Dan drove from Marble Falls, which was only 20 minutes away, to have dinner with us. Brian grilled hamburgers and we all visited and caught up with each other.

        And what is a trip to the lake without some S'Mores!!!

                We celebrated Brian and Jessica's 10th anniversary with a little cheesecake (ha) since we were all together.  Too Cute!

Log Country Cove - Day 3

 Jax woke up ready to go fishing :)  Our favorite line of the weekend..."Where's my fishin pole?"

            Cade made fast friends with a friendly lab who lives at Log Country Cove.
They played for hours! So sweet!

            Jax had a ball tubing from the back of the jet ski!!!

Chris rented a boat for the evening. Our friends Sarah and Jake drove in for dinner from Austin with their two kids, Rocky and Max. We took the kiddos around the lake, attempted to fish and finally just let them all jump in and swim ...which turned out to be the hit of the evening!

What a wonderful trip! We have lots of memories from a fast 4 days away. So thankful for our time with our family! Hope we can travel together again soon!
