Log Country Cove - Day 1

We took our first mini vacation with Mom and Dad (otherwise known as Gran and Pap Jack) and Brian Jessica and Jax. We were so excited to get away for a long weekend and all be together! We booked a house in Burnet, Tx in a little area called Log Country Cove Thursday through Sunday. It is on a river that connects to Lake LBJ and Lake Buchannan and somehow or another flows into The Colorado. It was so peaceful and secluded, but full of ammenities.  It was such a wonderful trip we are planning to return next summer and hopefully be able to rent a house on the lakefront.  Here are our pictures....Day One.....

             Lily made a list of things we needed to bring on our trip! She's going to be a list-maker...Get's that from her Gran and her mommy....Little Party Planner in the making :)

                                                        Our house was named Bear Hollow

                                    It had 3 bedrooms and two roll aways.

Pap Jack and I took the kids on a walk down the trail behind our house after we unpacked.
Cade was our trailblazer! He was in the lead at all times! Jax is just 2 and a half but was such a trooper the whole time!
