We went on an Egg Hunt with hundreds of people and thousands of eggs! Soccer fields were roped off for each age group and 7,500 filled eggs lay on the fields with eager kiddos waiting....
Have you ever seen so many eggs before!!!! It was unbelievable! I wish my house could be cleaned up as fast as all of the eggs were picked up! Apparently it's not as fun as an egg hunt (ha)!
Cade's Class Easter Party
I was in charge of Cade's class Easter party! Some bad weather was heading our way so we decided to have the egg hunt in the classroom. The kiddos ate their snack and before we could even get to a craft we were told to leave the building and that schools around us were in lockdown from the severe weather heading our way! Lily's school dismissed early so Kim grabbed her from school for me. We made it home safe and sound and the bad weather didn't end up heading this far north. It was so sad to watch the destruction it made in it's path of tornados that afternoon!!! Kristel and Brian saw the tornado as they were driving! It was a close one for them both!!1 Glad to be safe and sound with our family and know that our loved ones were safe too!!!
Easter Sunday
We drove to Granbury for Easter lunch with Chris' parents after going to mass with Kristel and Rick and their Carter crew. We made it to the neighborhood egg hunt with the kids. Super stinkin cute!
